Assistant Principal

This will be my 22nd year as an educator. Before becoming the Assistant Principal at San Tan Elementary in 2015, I taught students in Kindergarten through 6th grade as a Special Education teacher, was a Title I Coordinator & Interventionist, and Literacy Coach. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Arizona State University and my Master’s degree from Northern Arizona University.

I am eager to continue partnering with the students, staff, parents, and community of San Tan Elementary as we continue on the exciting journey of The Leader In Me. The 8 Habits framework is designed to help students discover their own unique strengths and allows teachers to find opportunities for every child to shine to be a leader. This framework along with the high level of academic excellence creates a superb learning environment at San Tan Elementary where we strive to Unite • Learn • Lead • Inspire every child, every day.
